D&D 4E 4E Green Star Adept

Earlier this week, my DM floated the idea of converting our 3.5 game into 4th Edition, which I consider awesome. Most of us will translate easily, which is also awesome. I am, however, playing a Duskblade who is at level 9 of Green Star Adept, and translating that is not so awesome.

Fighter-with-swordmage or just plain swordmage is the way we`re going for the base class, but we could use some conversions for this particular PrC, or at least someone who has more 4E experience than us so we don`t utterly bugger up game balance. Key stuff is heavy damage resistance, no need to eat-sleep-breathe and some of the immunities.

I would suggest starting with Swordmage, multiclass with Fighter (seasoned to taste with number of follow-up Power feats). Then move into the Dreadnought paragon class from Martial Power. That way, you get a very similar path to a spellcaster taking on the "tough-guy" melee aspect of GSA.

In case you do not have that book, I will give you a sense of it:

Dreadnought
Prerequisite: Fighter
Dreadnought Path Features
Dreadnought Action (11th level): spend an action point, gain resist 10 to all damage
Unfailing Resources (11th level): hit point value increases by 10; free action, you can take 10 damage to save automatically against an effect
Critical Hardening (16th): score a critical hit with a weapon, you gain resist 10 to all damage

Dreadnought Exploits
Inexorable Advance Dreadnought Attack 11
Blood Iron Dreadnought Utility 12
Line-Breaker Assault Dreadnought Attack 20
