Okay, I'll just roll with that. I'd asked about it after reading the PDF, but no one suggested changing it, so I'll just roll with that and have Sahyr hear snippets of the Elvish conversation. Makes it easier/quicker to get Sahyr interested anyway.

In a very rusty Elven, Vatan will answer "Ahh...." then close his mouth and try again.... "Lolgoff...The barbarian king to the east? Aye, we be off to oversee the crowning of his ..... (looks towards Drůthruss) replacement?.....and mayhap a chance to bash a few scurvy Gobbo heads." He looks a bit embarased after that last. "'Scuse me language m'Lady"

Emphasis mine. Vatan's speech about Lolgoff and the barbarian and smashing gobbo heads was all in Elven.

Ah I see. I read that a few times and still didn't see that. Dunno whats wrong with me - even did a search on "elvish" to be sure... smacks head. Carry on - don't mind me...

Although I doubt that Vatan would know the elvish equivilant of " 'scuse", "scurvy" and "Gobbo", so those words might be in common. He is rusty after all.

Time for another family visit to New Orleans!

I work 12 hour days starting in an hour until 7:00 Tuesday night, at which time we'll be promptly heading out for the Big Easy until around the 29th. Posting will be slow until Tuesday, and probably nothing after that until we get back. I'll be taking a laptop with me, so if I can get some access out there in the country I'll be able to post from there--otherwise I'll see you all when I get back.
