Yes, but using my AP is the only way to get in melee range and be able to attack. Belkar may be dazed or worse next round. And at least will every failed attack deal my dex mod damage, not much, but better than waiting at range with a melee character.

But if this hits...

My attck bonus is +19/+18.
I need a 16 or 17 to hit in 4 attacks to deal quarry damage.
Would not be a that bad chance.

I'm just the DM, but, generally speaking I'm not sure why it's not a great idea...

The cleric, playing controller, clears the blockers. Before the monster can react the melee force bum-rushes the boss.

Is there another viable option? There's not much cover... so sneaking around isn't going to get you very far (assuming Belkar wants to leave the rest of the party to get beaten on, which, actually Belkar would love). :devil:

So hopefully we'll see renau1g post for Jack and then (if he can make time in the middle of his move) redclaw will change Lukalos' action.

If he doesn't I'll probably just change it for him and have him hop of the trap (since dispel just isn't going to work.

Fine, I will post the action soon in tne IC thread. Got a small problem to get IC working, but no fear.

For sneaking around and letting other have the fun:

So, Belkar's stepped up. Crits are amazing.
Can you imagine how much damage that would have done if he'd hit with all those attacks?

Now we just need renau1g to post for Jack.

Btw I understand it's a lot to absorb. I'm fine with going slow while we get adjusted to the system.
And it gives me more time to plan out the aboleth's actions. :]

In my defense Belkar's sheet is a bit unclear. What I think happened was I saw
>Wis: 14 (+1 level) = 15
and translated it as
>Wis 1x (+1)

so if there's no actions for Jack by then...
the aboleth won't go before monday... :(

Sorry for being unclear. (But I think adding 1/2 level to the ability mods like some do helps either.)
I will see what I can do to clear thinks up.

Man, starting combat with a crit is great. :D

Question: What about 'shift 1' powers on difficulty ground?
 


my understanding matches Dalamars.
There may be some paragon level effects that let you shift around like an elf... Otherwise? Don't work in the mucus haze.
 

Ok, I thought so myself. BTW, there is an EPIC feat that allows you to ignore difficult terrain. (And a ranger daily, but I didn't want to use it, yet.)
