What exactly am I not getting or missing? What is the starting HP for characters in 4.0?

Con Score, not Con modifier.

Looking at the Human cleric from DDXP and the Half-elf cleric from KotS leads me to believe that Insight may not be a trained skill for Cleric; Erais may have used a human bonus trained skill to get it.

Speculation: I think future pregenerated characters will all list if a skill is trained or not, as there will be certain skill uses you cannot attempt unless you are trained in a skill (as in Star Wars: Saga Edition). They didn't do it for DDXP because DDXP showcased the new combat system.
 

Besides missing class defense modifiers the Dragonborn paladin is also missing one of his Channel Divinity Class Features (Dragonborn paladin only has Divine Strength, while Corrin has Divine Mettle and Divine Strength).

Could it be that the class gains 1 + one-half your Wisdom modifier Channel Divine class features? Or something else?
 


Thanks for the hard work. A few notes I made on the new (2.4) edition:

1. Missing the new KotS Cleric Powers (Healing Strike, Beacon of Hope, Cure Light Wounds and Daunting Light).

2. Healing Word heals "Healing Surge +1d6" and a seperate Cleric ability adds +Wis to all healing. ?Not all Clerics may have this ability?

3. Missing the Bahamut Channel Divinity feat and it's powers.
 

Minor addition: For the warlord, you have "Other Known Warlord At-Will Powers, with missing mechanics: • Furious Smash • Viper’s Strike"

You can do the same thing for the rogue's Riposte Strike.

The half-elf's bonus power was cut simply due to space restrictions. Keep in mind that, as a quick start, KotS doesn't always use the full rules. For example, the skill challenge in the adventure was slimmed down so that we could fit it and the rules around it into the encounter.

We'll address the half-elf on DDI and bundle it with the materials we're posting next week. If you're playing the adventure right now, go ahead and pick a at-will power from a different character and use it as an encounter power for the half-elf. Just go ahead and use the listed attack bonus and damage for the power you choose, though normally you'd recompute those.

Sorry for the confusion, and sorry we didn't answer this thread earlier.

And Scott The Rouse has clarified the Paladin's Lay-on-Hands

As for Lay on Hands. It's use is tied to the Wis Mod. with a minimum use of 1 per day. So our Dragonborn Paladin is not so wise and thus has one LOH per day. The higher the Wis Mod for character the more LOH they get per day (still limited to 1 per round).

I've emailed Mike Mearls about adding KotS to the PrRC, but no response so far...

It's not illegal to spread if the information if the info is already on PUBLIC display. *rolls eyes* Still, if it breaks some kind of rule, I will be more than happy to take the scans down and simply post the new utility powers.

Also, I've updated my printer drivers and I still cna't print the document. Please help me out someone.​

I'm not sure you can post scans of copywrite material, but I'll let the moderators step in if needed. (EDIT: Ah, there is the answer). I'd like to add the powers, but I won't be including material taken from published-for-sale sources, unless it is used as promotion by WotC themselves, such as the pages from the core books shown at D&DXP. I've asked for permission, and I'll wait for a response.

As for the printing, I don't have any suggestions beyond what you've already done. Perhaps try updating your Acrobat Reader, or print to another printer if you have access to another one? Which printer are you using? Which opperating system?

Well, actually, yes it is. I've removed your images. No problem reporting the powers, but we'd rather not have the scans up. It was kind of you to try to help other fans, though.

Incidentally, if you post images in the future, please make sure to use the sblock and /sblock tags. That makes it so that only people who want to need to load the images you post.
