D&D 4E 4E PrRC ~v2.7~ FINAL UPDATE May 29.08

I think that may simply be an error. They may've intended to give the Fighter an extra language but left it off, for instance. In addition, it contradicts Kathra, who does have four Trained Skills. Also seems odd that every other class gets four Trained Skills (Except for the Ranger and Rogue, who get six), but the Fighter's the only one with three Trained Skills.

Indeed, I don't like it either and wouldn't put money on it, but since KotS is newer than DDXP, I changed it. Look for the PrRC update next week to undo this change when the corrected pregens are released, until then house-rule as you see fit.

Don't Rangers have 5? Dungeoneering or Survival +4?

Perhaps Fighters have Endurance +2?

Dunno.

Rangers appear to get six. Riardon, the Eladrin Ranger has Acrobatics, Athletics, History, Nature, Perception, and Stealth as Trained Skills.

My guess, though, is that it's just an error on that character sheet. Seems odd that Fighters would be the one and only class with an odd number of Trained Skills, whereas pretty much everyone else gets four Trained Skills. That and Kathra's character sheet, which had four Trained Skills on it (Athletics, Endurance, Heal, and Insight). We know Trained Skills can be substituted for additional languages, so it's possible they meant to do that, and simply forgot to include the additional language.

i seriuosly think all defenders (paladins and fighters) get a +1 attack at first level... the fighters get an additional +1 to attack that depends on the style they choose with some particular weapons (1handed weapon or 2handed)...
so i think the longsword is a proficency 2 weapon (not 3) and the maul is a proficency 1 weapon...

Nope, it's clearly 5. Nature/Dungeoneering and four others. Maybe Eladrin gain a bonus skill as well?

Yes, a Ranger gets Nature or Dungeoneering +4 others. I've added History as an automatic trained skill for Eladrin for now, to keep the D&DXP Ranger at 6 skills. Too bad KotS doesn't include an Eladrin, it would be nice to get another data point for them.

RE: Monster Recharge

This was posted by Chris Sims here

Since you asked so nicely , recharge is per power. Roll a d6; if it equals any shown recharge number, the power recharges.

Edit: Chris is on a roll today...here is another tidbit:

RE: Do minions gain temporary HP? Link

Fantastic question! Minions interact normally with temporary hp rules (that's one reason why they have 1 hp). So, yes, the wyrmpriest makes the minions a little bit badder.
