Yes, however, this is specifed as happening after you have a hold. The move in is required to maintain that hold. The context makes it seem like a special case, not like an indication that you can stop in your opponent's square in general.

You can if you're small enough. Some creatures, like vermin, actually need to be in your square to attack, but they don't provoke an AoO if they move into your square with a 5-foot step.

It seems that moving into an opponent's square is always a special case, in one form or another.
