Random thoughts. It has Ralph Digby (minus). Detective Montoya (plus, as long as they develop the character). Booster's issues with time changing are interesting. so I'll be patient.
I enjoyed Birds of Prey - One Year Later more. Scarlet Canary indeed. The scene with Lady Shiva and the Ventriloquist is one of my favorites for some time.
My general thoughts, based on protagonist:
Booster Gold - His breakdown added a lot to his character. He really is deseperate for attention.
Steel - Man, Natasha is being a jerk. Glad to see Steel collapse her armor.
Ralph Dibny - Slow beginning, as expected. His pain rings true. And the mistery promises to delve into his detective skills, which is a plus.
Renee Montoya - Is her world gonna get rocked or what?
Black Adam - Cool scene, but I hope he actually goes somewhere.
The Question - "I can see you." Very cool!
You are right, that's what I get for posting from work.

Spoiler
Still wondering if Montoya is really supposed to be the new Batwoman.

I'm a Black Adam and Question fan so I'm looking forward to what is done with them. The Question has been vastly under used at times. Black Adam has really become interesting for me.
I've been hearing rumors that the Booster Gold who came back in Infinite Crisis isn't the same Booster as the one who left at the end of The OMAC Project. Like from another future timeline or something. That's just fan-speculation, though.
Did you read the recent Question LS? It was really good, IMO- my first exposure to the character, admittedly. It doesn't sound like (from what I've read) they are going to use the more "city shaman"-esque take on him, which is too bad, but we'll see.
Nice to see Professor Magnus again. A Metal Men cameo would rock. Not sure who the scientist he's speaking to is though. It's certainly building on scientists being kidnapped though. Possibly related to Booster's troubles and someone possibly messing with time.
The Question-Montoya storyline is building, with a little fan service thrown in as well. Nice to see them using the Question well, though I can see why some posters elsewhere have suspected this Question might be Two Face. It even fits his theme a little. Dent had an interest in Montoya. The Question suddenly trying to help her is a little out of the blue.
Skimmed past the Elongated Man stuff, to be honest.
Addendum: T.O. Morrow is the scientist Magnus talks to. I've seen some debate about if Booster's actions are messing with time, but I'm learning toward someone else being behind it. He's just trying to be a superhero based on information from a future that is no longer totally accurate.
The Question did a few little magic things that I don't think Harvey could pull off. Hopefully, we will see a little Harvey Dent in later issues.
I'm wondering if thing will come together well or if its going to be a mess. With two issues out of 52 its hard to judge but I hope they a decent plan that links into the current DC world.
