I never claimef 1E exclusive btw. 2E did not have things like restricted strength for females.

IIRC, Oriental Adventures had dispensed with restricted strength for females, too. And that was late 1e. Despite owning the book, it's not something I realized until yesterday.

I'd cut the valor bard as well. Bards were pretty non-existent in 1e, given the multiclass requirements. And they certainly weren't primary spellcasters.

2E had them and Valor bard is the closest to it.
