I created an archetype and published it today.
Most sorcerers are known for being able to trace their bloodlines to fantastical creatures that inhabit the world: dragons, fey, fiends, and otherwise. A rare few sorcerers have less definitive origins and seem born of magic itself. This origin is known as the Savant.
The Savant is a sorcerous origin that brings utility and versatility to a class typically associated with neither. With this archetype, the Savant can temporarily expand their list of spells known, feel a connection with magic others only dream of, and ultimately master metamagic.
