As the creature babbles, Mim, Medrash, Korlan and Jorrick are the most effected. Everyone else is able to temporarily shrug off the effects of the encroaching insanity.
Mim and Jorrick are overcome, unable to move or act.
OOC:
They must spend their turn doing nothing, but can do another wisdom save at the beginning of their next turn
Korlan grabs his head, screaming. His flight or fight response kicks in, leaning more towards fight. Unforutnatly, the insanity causes him to see enemies everywhere. He grabs his newly enchanted sword and takes a swing at the nearest being he can see: the pixie, Lyla.
OOC:
Attack with disadvantage: [roll0] or [roll1]
Damage: [roll2]
Medrash, the Dragonborn, is the most unlucky of all. He clutches his head, unable to keep the insanity from infecting him. His Fight or Flight response kicks in as well, only his goes towards Flight. He ducks his head and runs in random direction...which just happens to be directly towards the creature!
If able (not sure what the rules say on OAs against friends), Quentin would try to trip Medrash before he reaches the creature (immediate reaction) as he starts running. I realize this may be hard to do since Quentin was the last one in order and he was up front, but if there was reshuffling as we approached the screaming priest he may be close enough.
No problem if I cannot do it, just seems like something useful to do.
