I think its cool too though there is zero chance I'd buy one. I can't see any use for augmented reality and don't want to wear a bulky set of goggles.
Also a lot of table top gamers are young and not terribly well off, To use this they'yd need everyone in the group to be able to afford VR goggles one or more Windows 10 boxes with enough horsepower to run it and whatever software requirements are out there. One set of books, some dice and an old laptop like the $15 dollar one a friend just bought and converted are much more affordable.
