Hee hee

This is what happens when people speak enigmatically. Misunderstandings happen. :)

You can always have Amina stop bidding. I doubt her opponent will mind. (^_^)

Hmm. Given that whatever this is may be of relation to the auction, I suppose I should steal a peek at it.

I will narrate as such in my next post. If you let me know what she sees, I'll include that information (or her reaction to it at least) in that post.

Sounds good! I am just thankful not to reply: glyph of warding. ;)

So working on my post. How are you handling charm spells specifically suggestion? From the spells description it does not indicate if the target knows he has been charmed or by whom. Just want to make sure this is the case before I go and cast it on a person.

It seems like 5e enchantment spells specifically call out when a creature realizes it has been charmed. For example...

Charm person: When the spell ends, the creature knows it was charmed by you.

Friends: When the spell ends, the creature realizes that you used magic to influence its mood and becomes hostile toward you.

Suggestion has no such caveat, which is part of the beauty of that spell. My ruling would be that normally the target doesn't realize it is under a magical effect when suggestion is cast on it successfully. However, if its succeeds its saving throw or the request is unreasonable, then it would realize you tried to control it with magic.
