I wasn't trying to be a jerk about it - so sorry if I was - it just seemed like too big an oversight. I am not even sure I will upvote him throughout - but he deserves a chance.

As far as the "newer" artists go, I really appreciate the work of Jeremy Jarvis. He has a retro, almost ethereal touch to his paintings that make me think of the old children's books that I grew up with. His stuff for D&D was mostly in the 3.5E splatbooks like "Complete Warrior" and the later Monster Manuals, but the bulk of his work can be found on Magic: the Gathering cards.

Also, I've met him in person, and he's a genuinely nice guy.

As for Jim Zub, he is a comic book illustrator. His latest D&D work was for the "Rick & Morty" campaign setting, according to the Internet.

Augh! Otis was supposed to be on the list! All of the D&D cover artists were supposed to be on the list, at a bare minimum, and he is on my original write-up as well. But for some reason, when I was thinning the list down, I deleted the line he was supposed to be in.

(For those not in the know, Errol Otis illustrated the cover of Basic and Expert D&D. And as @el-remmen (and others elsewhere on the 'net) have pointed out, his work was pivotal in the development of many of D&D's now-assumed "rules" of what certain things in the game are "supposed" to look like.)

Alright, let's do this. But I don't want this to set a precedent: The List Is The List, and going forward, it will continue to always be the list even when I screw up (and I screw up a lot.) This is a one-time exception.

Hmm...that name doesn't ring a bell, and it wasn't on my original list of artists, so I don't have the same excuse I had for Errol Otis. I honestly don't know how I missed him. He is clearly a cover artist for D&D, but he didn't show up in my searches for some reason. I'll add him to the list as well, with my apologies. (As I have said before: my intent was to include all of the D&D cover artists, at a minimum.)
