I'm in no hurry after all - these threads are entertaining to me - and I like to stretch my entertainment out

I know we have at least Catastrophic Dragons and Planar Dragons, plus probably a survivor thread involving all the miscellaneous dragons that didn’t make it into any other category.

Catastrophic Dragons seems like a contender for admittance into The Redundancy School of Redundancy.

I actually really enjoyed their lore and growing aura mechanic in 4e and how that replaced the standard breath weapon the other dragons did. Made them feel a bit more like mini natural disasters and made them pretty dangerous for melee fighters or battles in close quarters. I've created a few for my current campaign as well, blending in features from different elementals creatures as well to really flesh them out.
