I mean, it's less "appropriation" and more that the Saint had the theonym. Lots of saints with Greco-Roman theonyms, too (St. Martin, St. Hermes, St. Dionysius, etc.)

I voted down St. Cuthbert in the Greyhawk thread with the saint excuse, it applies in reverse in this case, that's as good as any reason, and it's not like I'm bringing her any lower than where she started."

Going after the current lowest score tends to be the most efficient play, I find.
