3,000 years makes for a lot of variations in religious beliefs.

Personally I’m a fan of the moment when Akhenaten elevated Aton as Egypt’s supreme (or sole) deity... and perhaps synonymous with Akhenaten himself... but Aton wasn’t on this list, either. (IIRC)
