ALignment has NO mechanical meaning anymore. Hasn't had any at all since 5e came out. So creatures don't need it. TCE introduced the no more ASI on species so you down voted wrong thing if those are your reasons

Creatures still have have it to aid the DM in running them, and that purpose is still present in the game. It's not about need.
