Path of Ancestral Guardian: 13 -2 = 11
Path of Totem Warrior: 12 +1 = 13

Ancestral Guardian does next to nothing in a 1v1 or if you're the last one standing, or if they are in fact targeting you for any other reason. Totem Warrior isn't my favorite but I do prefer it over Ancestral Guardian.
