Highest Scores achieved:
Thief (Rogue) 55
Ancients (Paladin) 55
It is appropriate then that these were also the final two contenders?
I think so.![]()
Yep, it would fill niches pretty well, too.Oath of Ancients Paladin (winner)
Thief Rogue
College of Lore Bard
Totem Warrior Barbarian
That could be a fun party.
I down voted Thief every round after Mystic was gone. What I find interesting here is how one voter (me) probably changed the outcome. I downvoted bard at least a dozen times. If I hadn't been so steady, the bard might have won...
I suspect that I am not the only such person, that there are several cases like this where if one person had/hadn't been involved the outcome would have been different. We need more voters perhaps?

I mean, I was constantly working to get rid of the Fighter, and it remained until the "final five." I even missed a few days, during which time it rose but didn't clearly outstrip every other option. What I find interesting here is how one voter (me) probably changed the outcome. I feel good. Now, everybody should just be making Oath of the Ancients Paladins, right? They're objectively the best choice. Somebody should inform the OneD&D guys, they need to just make a single OotA Paladin class... maybe with a bunch of subclasses? Ooh, one that enlarges during fights! And one that is a ranged specialist! And one needs more spells!
I'm still very curious how the ranked choice voting would go, even if we just left it at the final list of winning subclasses. Didn't want to steal thunder from your last survivor thread for the foreseeable future though.I wonder just how different the outcome would have been if I hadn't broken them out by class, and instead posted just one long list of subclasses. At the very least, it would have made it harder for folks to focus on eliminating particular Classes.
It'll be interesting to see how the next person handles these Survivor threads (if anyone does). My way is certainly not the only way to do it.I'm still very curious how the ranked choice voting would go, even if we just left it at the final list of winning subclasses. @EzekielRaiden almost singlehandedly put Lore into the finals. That is fantastic. For anyone interested, here is a summary of the 60 voters and who they upvoted (green)/downvoted (red) and how many times.
I've also attached the Excel file (zipped) if anyone wants to look more at it.
