Anyone who purchases this, understand that the Feudal Lords Campaign Setting is very dark fantasy . . .
This adventure might not totally dive into that, but again, be warned.

This product does focus on the complex schemes of dragons and Gullhyndr the Gold-Horned One is no different! It further explores the theme of evil for the greater good as well as the various shades of gray that is human nature.

I also asked the question: "Why would a lawful good dragon and essentially, lawful good dwarven citizens make a sacrifice that could cause them toward a path of evil?" While the overall adventure does not delve too deep into these themes, there is one encounter that does dabble into horror. However, when I wrote the adventure, my goal was to present a realistic dwarven culture without mimicking Tolkien (at least, not too badly).

I agree, the cover looks great. What's the price point for the print edition?

An unofficial estimated cost will put it at around $22.95 - $24.95 for a hardbound, premium full color book. When we focus on a price point for a POD, we keep in mind that customers will pay a shipping cost (which is out of our control) and the profit margin between a PDF and a POD (we usually have a larger profit margin with PDFs since we attempt to make our PODs comparable to on-the-shelf purchases). I do envision a lower price ($19.95), but that will depend on the figures. I will know more next week.

We are a very small company (just me and a few freelancers), therefore most of the money goes into making the next project. My focus is on the gaming experience and gamers, not necessarily profit (I know that is not a great business model - my only interest in profit is that it allows the flexibility to hire writers and artists at a good rate to make better products). Therefore, our price point reflects the balance between affordability for customers and money needed to make the quality products we envision.

Thanks for the reply Josh. I'll wait for the print since I enjoy the physical copy to read but the pdf for maps and such to use with Tabletop connect, 3d vtt.

When will the print version be available? I think someone asked the same on the rpgnow site as well?
