Hire (some really good!) thieves to break into his house and re-arrange all his furniture.

Even better get a Rogue to steal the floorboards from the upper floor of his house, leaving everything balanced on the beams, while the Monk is asleep in the bed.

It certainly had a salutory effect in the campaign where it happened.

Nah! Those were in a game I played with a different group... we enjoyed in character disputes... although PvP violence was considered a no-go area, so we had to find other outlets for it. Was lots of fun.


The current Morrus extravaganza had some minor player disagreements, but they've been sorted out with sensible shouting and dice throwing.

Currently dealing with a hidebound nomad tribe, a good old fashoined castle full of orcs and a cute friendly little 8 year old girl (who detects as pure evil). Quite enough to keep us happy, busy and extremely paranoid without any help from each other. That's lots of fun too....

I'm thinking about heading back to the nice, safe lower levels of Rappun Athuk to get away from it all!

a monk vs an a fighter/barb of even level in a melee ,huh? Well if diplomacy doesn't work the monk has probably just bitten of more than he can chew....it seems lucky for the monk that you have a pacifistic barbarian.

Well, the monk is probably relying high AC to win the day for him. Probably figures that he can outlast the barbarian rage and then start pinging the PC down in small damage increments. Of course, the Barbarian has a +39 to attack considering nothing more than pre-epic BAB & strength bonuses, so a 64 AC might not be as impressive as he would like to think. *shrug* Ultimately, I hate when my Players get into the "discussions" about who is bigger and better and why their character would lay the smackdown on any other character. Most of those discussions are predicated on the best case scenario they can imagine.
