It being very early in the day, if you want to wait till dark arcane casters will get a chance to rest and prepare. (As I recall, Opale is an elf and doesn't actually sleep, anyway.)

[SBLOCK=OOC]Opale is a human, but humans can sleep during the day if needed, and I doubt death was so much relaxing that she couldn't find sleep... if it was so relaxing, she could prepare her spells after all ;)

If I can rest, here my spell list:
Spell Memorized: (4+1/3+1/2+1)
DC: 14 + Spell level
0: Acid Splash, Detect Magic, *Ghost Sound, Mage Hand, Read Magic
1: *Color Spray, Grease, Mage Armor, Silent Image
2: Glitterdust, Melf's Acid Arrow, *Mirror Image
*Bonus Illusion Spell[/SBLOCK]

"OK." It seems the merfolk don't have much useful information about the pirates. If this is the case, then a generic advance seems their only option.

After dark, the 7 intrepid adventurers, Jack, Iggy, Planus, Charlarn, Opale, Ducane and Zach climb aboard their rowboat. The stronger members take the oars, and they set out towards the island, trying not to make too much noise, and bearing no lights.

Opale will cast Mage Armor ahead of time. If we are less than 30 minytes from teh island, it will be before she enter teh boat, if we are farther, it will be about 30 minutes before hitting the island, mainly to be sure not to be spotted while she is casting.

Planus is glad to see Opale and Ducane back in the land of the living. He asks many insensitve questions about what it is like to die. Did you see it happening? Did your whole life flash before your eyes? What's an explosive run feel like? He will not push the issue if his questions are rebuffed, and will do his best to avoid interrupting Iggy and the merfolk.

OOC: Planus's update for 4th level is still on my home computer. Hopefully I will have it up tonight though.

Feeling distinctly out of place amongst the merfolk, Jack just waits patiently for the undoubtedly pivotal role he will play in the infiltration and sabotage of the pirate encampment.

Their is a bright full moon tonight in the south seas, just as in the nothern mountains. Your oars propel you queitly toward the pirate base. Several campfires dot the landscape.

"Let's stay away from the fires. I have no desire to fight on water. We'll try to find a quiet landing spot, then move in to attack the nearest fire." says Iggy.
