"I have no particular reason to distrust the merfolk, but we are taking their word that these are evil pirates. Perhaps they are simply humans who are having a fishing dispute with the merfolk. That's why I'd prefer to use non-lethal force against them for now. I suppose Jack's already off setting fire to their depot, so the die is cast, to some extent."

Iggy pauses. "Let's get them. Let's sneak closer. I"ll cast my color spray & the rest of you can mop up anyone who doesn't succumb."

Iggy is ready to move.

The second map is about 800' S/SW from the first map.

You believe you may achieve surprise if you attack, and the pirates may in fact have had too much rum from what you can see.

Roll initiative.

First Post
Trying not to give away his position, Jack is being especially cautious...

Initiative +4 = 10

He curses silently to himself as he fails to find adequet cover -- other than the darkness itself -- to satisfyingly hide his movements. He can only hope that the pirate guards are too drunk to be entirely attentive, and that the distance and darkness is concealment enough.

Double move 20' to K27.
Hide +17 = 19
Move Silently +15 = 21
Listen +12 = 14
Spot +10 = 17

Jack's goal is to move to the corner of the warehouse (T12) unseen. He's going slow, and hoping that an alarm from the others' diversion will draw most of the pirate guards soon.
