A Clash of Earth and Sea (El Jefe Judging) [See Part II]

"Iggy, you said you'd do both my swords! Hey nice fire blast! If you could make that look like it came out of your mouth you'd be a fire breathing halfling! Damn, this one's dead already? Thats a waste of four minutes of sword magic. Oh, goody, more of them! Here birdie birdie!"

Round 3 Concludes
Xael moves to guard Iggy. (Which is slightly vague -- I'll interpret it as moving to Iggy and readying an action to attack any enemy coming in melee range.)

Sara chats happilly anticipating further violence.

Charlarn fully heals Ducane (leaving no party member currently wounded.)

Zack delivers a coup de grace to the helpless gargoyle, killing it.

Round 4 Begins
Iggy casts magic weapon on Ducane's Bastard Sword.

Ducane is up next.
 

Ducane scans the sky trying to see the Gargoyles, and keeps readying an action to hit the first Gargoyle stupid enough to come within reach. "One down, how many more to go...", he mumbles aloud.
 

Zack finds himself wondering if Sara's endless blabbering is to cover something, perhaps fear. For now, he leaves the matter undecided.
Swirling the bloody scythe around once, he takes a position close to the others and gets ready to attack any incoming gargoyles.

OoC: Ready action to attack.
 

Charlarn of Phyrah: Male human cleric 3/ranger 1

Charlarn speaks to Zack, "Now that we have a moment. Let me say that prayer now. Lady Phyrah, allow your servant to share the wounds of this man." A silver flash covers Zack briefly and then fades. "There. You should last longer in battle now."

(Casts shield other on Zack; lasts 3 hours; he gains a +1 deflection bonus to AC and a +1 resistance bonus on saves. Zack takes half damage from all wounds and attacks that deal hit point damage. Charlarn takes the other half of the damage.)

Cleric Spells Prepared (4/3+1/2+1: save DC 13 + level):
0-detect magic, guidance, light, mending;
1-bless, magic weapon, magic weapon, sanctuary*;
2-shield other*, spiritual weapon, summon monster II.
*Domain spell.

Sara continues to delay.

Charlarn casts Shield Other on Zack.

We enter a maze of twisting passages, all alike. :)

Charlarn touches his morningstar and says, "Lady Phyrah, please empower this weapon." (casts magic weapon on his morningstar. Gains a +1 enhancement bonus to attack and to damage for 3 minutes) After he does that, he watches the approaching monster carefully (applies +1 dodge bonus to AC from Dodge feat against G2; AC 18 vs. it, AC 17 vs. all others.)

"I hope this thing isn't smart enough to hover 'til our spells expire." Iggy mutters. He then shouts at the beast. "Hey ugly! Come over here so I can fry you like I did your friends!" He readies a color spray to cast if/when a gargoyle gets w/in 15 feet.
