Planus moves farther in and takes another shot, aiming at the ogre's huge back to avoid hitting Jack.

OOC: Planus should start round 4 at J21. He moves to R21 and fires one arrow. He is now within 30 feet and depending on where Ducane moves should be able to avoid melee.

Round 3: Ducane moves to R17, trying his best not to get hit by the merrow.

OOC: Using Total Defense.
 

Actually, Iggy will need to move closer to catch the merrow in his scorching ray. He moves forward 20 feet to M13. His ray has a range of 35 feet. Dmg above.
 

Ducane moves to R17, wary of the powerfull Merrow.

Round 4 Begins
Jack dances past the Merrow, taunting him and arriving at T13. He too is making himself the hardest possible target.

[Opale goes here, and could shoot the crossbow, but currently has no line of sight to the Merrow.]

Iggy runs forward, blasting the Merrow for 15 points fire damage.

Planus fires at the Merrow but misses.

Charlarn begins to summon an agent of his god.

The Merrow dances back into the corner, Jack still his target, and let's loose a howl of rage. Other than putting it's back to a wall, it appears to have abandoned any pretense of defense, and it's actually foaming at the mouth.

Advanced Merrow, Raging, 3 points power attack. (1d20+12=19, 3d6+21=34)

Only Jack's defensive measures save him from otherwise certain death, as the massive Axe slams into the ground where his feet were a moment before and shatters the stone he had been standing on!

To make matters worse, Ducane can see a light aproaching from the east...

Opale, seeing she can't do anything good from her position, try again to get out from under the gate and finally get out of there. (Escape Artist roll: 22)
 

Looks like Opale made it on her 3rd roll, so she will be ready to act in round 6. (Her first attempt to get free was round 3, also failed in round 4, made it in round 5.)
