A Clash of Earth and Sea (El Jefe Judging) [See Part II]

Iggy will continue running, but veer towards his oppoents. If the Merrow is still on its feet, he'll run to U16 (or U 17 if that's still in range) & fire his color spray at it. If it's down, he'll end up close to the barred East door and if the spellcaster is w/in 15 feet of it, he'll cast his spray at the spellcaster. If the spellcaster is beyond 15 feet, and the merrow is dead, he'll shoot his crossbow at the caster. His spell save is DC 15.

Charlarn of Phyrah: male human cleric 3/ranger 2

Charlarn kneels by Jack's side and unrolls the scroll he grabbed from the bag. He reads the words to a cure light wounds prayer. Charlarn tenses in anticipation of an attack by the merrow (provoking an AoO). Concentration check (1d20=12) If he can get the spell off, it heals (1d8+1=7) hp. In any case the scroll vanishes in a puff of smoke. Charlarn then draws his morningstar and readies for battle.

Previously, in Round 6
Ducane hits the Merrow with a solid blow for 18 damage.

Round 7 continues
Planus shoots at the Merrow, dropping him, and attempts to follow up with a shot on the Wizard. In spite of the Wizards cover, he manages to hit him for 10 damage.

Charlarn, without the Merrow threatening him, is able to heal jack with his scroll, bringing the little warrior back to the land of the living with 2 hp. He draws his morningstar, though how to get close enough to the wizard to hit him would seem to be a problem.

Ducane burns to death (9), so Planus might find his healing rather ineffective.

OOC: Oh well. Even after being raised, he'd still be ahead of most of the other characters created about the same time as he was. Bummer about that, though. Come to think of it, though, raising him could present problems. Perhaps the Merfolk...
