the_myth said:Ok, order of priority on those items:
Whisper Pin: 17 at Wealth +18 (auto-success)
Synthasilk Bodyglove: 15 at Wealth +17 (auto-success)
Elixir: 15 at Wealth +16 (auto-success)
Expedition Medpac: 15 at Wealth +15 (auto-success)
Standard Energy Shield: 22 at Wealth +14 (roll 1-8 for success)
Focus Crystal: 20 at Wealth +12 (roll 1-8 for success)
ditch: Low Light Goggles & Surgery Kit
Of course, this progression assumes success at each check. Failure at the Energy Shield would increase the roll for the Crystal to 1-6.

Have a character idea you wanna share? I might be willing to change...
Thanks for the write-ups on the new Core Abilities!!!
Relique du Madde said:My initial idea was that my character, Roz Delysa, was the youngest member if a family that occupies the lowest rung on the succession ladder in the house of Decados and that her higher purpose was basically to try to place herself (or her future children) towards the top of the list by all means. As a result she tended to act like lapdog to the royal family.
This is how I decided to change the background:
Dame Roz Delysa is the youngest daughter of the head of the house of Delysa, a minor house which lost its allied standing with the house of Decados during the Emporer wars (it is believed that the house contributed to a major Decados defeat). As a result of the loss of her house's standing, Roz finds herself compelled to improve the standing of the house of Delysa at all costs.

I'd love to play almost any role, but my preferences would be:
Human Charioteer Pilot/Ship Captain (with beat-up ship)
Ukar Muster bodyguard (quiet, deadly)
Human Brother Battle monk (pious soldier with ulterior motive...)

* I'm assuming that the rumor mill within the great noble houses is extremely efficiant, and that the Peregryn Decados was easily able to appeal to Roz's impulsive nature.
