I was looking into purchasing this book soon and wanted to see how some campaigns have turned out. I was also wondering what the key difference between the normal book and the collector's edition was? (Is it just the addition of the Tri stat system?)

I really like it. It only covers the first book in the series but does so very well. I only have the normal book, so I don't know what other then tri stat is in the deluxe.

Yes, that is the only difference besides the fact that the collectors edition was to have (I believe) a bonus adventure for 1sties and maybe some more art, but that didn't pan out.

IME its good low-magic, but I wish the supplements would get released so we could play with magic and mass combat.

Well, the company did go under so who knows what will happen with the game now.

Another difference between the two books was the Collectors Edition was signed by GRRM and there were only a limited number.

IMO the game is awesome and is by far one of my favorites. I like the streamlined battle system.

I think they did a good job and fits the setting very well.

As mentioned to bad they went belly up.
