A Judgement Call

Good choice, Uzumaki. A friend of mine went through all of the initial hassle only to find out that there was just enough of a health risk to her to make it unacceptable for her personally. I understand your decision and wish you the best of luck in finding a 'normal' source of income.

Absolutely fair. I apologize for the last part of my rant and retract that part.
Classy & well said.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't donate sperm.
Especially now that the collection process involves a needle.

You make, like, thousands of he things over alifetime don't you? Are you planning on using them all?
Women probably just have more of a sentimental attachment as (unlike us males) they aren't accustomed to wasting a couple of hundred thousand in a night... :)

What was the health risk? If you don't mind me asking.

The two that bothered her were the risk of over-stimulation of her ovaries and the risk of permanent side-effects from the drugs. It was our understanding that overstimulation could lead to early menopause, meaning she'd need to have children earlier.

I didn't read the possible drug side-effects, but those weren't pleasant either. Of course, there are also risks with the surgery and post-surgery. Since they use intravenous anasthetic, there are risks associated with that as well as infections after the eggs are removed.

I know the risks are small, but they do exist and my friend would have been doing it just for the money and she didn't think it was worth it.
