A milestone -- 1,000 comments at RPGNow

I'd love to figure out how to get people to comment...

Good reviews, bad reviews, I don't care.

Ok that's a Lie. I do care.

I want a Good review, but I'll take a bad review and try and learn from it.

Pah-lease, someone say something :)

Thanks. I think a 4.2 is just fine, though. It's a high average which is good enough for me.

Someone earlier in this thread said that you have set a benchmark and I think this is true. 4.2 for 1000 feedback is remarkable and something that you should be proud of. To add to this, you have helped broaden the PDF market, which has helped all of us small publishers who like to see our electronic products reach as wide a traget audience as possible.

Here's to your next 1000.

Yah well, Ronin Arts does some of the best RPG stuff out there, period (to coin an Americanism).

Therefore, I'm hardly surprised. :)

If you sell the amount the Ronin Arts does, 3 comments per product is a small sampling, not even 1% if you think about. So he probably receives the same percentage of comments/product sold that we do, but with a catalogue in the hundreds, he naturally has more comments.

Congrats, Phil.

I'd like that too, but it would make it too easy for unethical publishers to generate shill reviews, so RPGnow probably shouldn't allow it.

I have no ideas what the reasons against it are, its not that big of deal but it would just be easier for me and what I do.

Perhaps. With your name attached to the comment, I don't think people would look down upon it as it's common knowledge that your reviews come from products you've been given. Publishers would even use your comments for advertising purposes, because it's not where it was said, but who said it.
