A MONSTER Tome

So, if WOTC brought the MM's up to 3.5 and smooshed them together into one book and maybe added the beasties from Dungeon and Dragon Mags as well as the FR and other D&D books, would you buy that bad boy? And at what price? Just to throw a price out there: Would that be worth 75.00 to you?

So, all the monsters from MMII, FF, Dungeon and Dragon, as well as all the monsters thrown in from other, non-monster-specific D&D books, for only 75$? Hell, yeah. I'm a sucker for monster books, and this sounds nice and convienient, not to mention would allow me to get rid of my old MMII and FF.

The idea, and the price, sound reminiscent of the Special Edition PHB, only, you know, useful.

Demiurge out.

I'm not really a monster book buyer but I'd buy that product in a heartbeat. My largest grievance with 3x is that the abundance of material just gets lost in the mix. A large compendium would be a great antidote to at least a portion of the book creep.

THe binder thing was a waste, it just did not hold up to ware.

I don't need the monsters updated, MM2 I think was a weak book, and FF is close enough.

What if they did the "binder thing" like they tried back with AD&D some years back.
I wouldn't buy a product in that format. I don't think I'd buy one colossal book, either. I'd personally rather see MMII and FF updated as separate books, and I personally wouldn't want the stuff from dragon.

The binder thing, while a nice idea, sucked in practice.

If all the monsters from sources outside the MM1 were put together in one book, I prolly would buy it, but I don't know if I'd pay $75.00 for it. I'd have to see it. And if it was just regurgitated stuff with nothing new for me to use and no corrections to past mistakes, ehhh less likely.

d00d, in a heartbeat. Although I have all those books, and my game isn't really updated... but I'm a sucker the next shiny new thing anyway. :(
