D&D 5E A New Frontier [IC]

OOC: Just an FYI, but you can’t cast Bless if you cast Healing Word. Can’t cast more than a cantrip if you use a Bonus Action spell.

OOC:
That's terrible mechanics! I always thought it only applied to quickened sorcerer spells so it prevents two higher level spells in the same round - but healing word is 'native' bonus action. Are you sure?

Positive. If you cast a BA spell, you cannot cast another spell on your turn unless it's a cantrip. It's right in the section on Bonus Action spells. AFB, so can't cite. Sorry.

"Tarukka, back! Back I say! You cannot have him, monster!"

Luthor calls upon his god in face of this most terrible of undead. And the wave of light crashes over them all, deep blue light rejuvenating Tarukka and giving the rest of them feeling of empowerment.

OOC: I know Thren is already weakened, thus I bless Ramas in hope he has some extra spell to cast :) MetaVoid, Tarukka regains 5hp, I suggest you get the hell out of there.

Bonus: Healing word: 1D4+4 = [1]+4 = 5

Changed action:
"Tarukka, back! Back I say! You cannot have him, monster!"

Luthor calls upon his god in face of this most terrible of undead. And the wave of light crashes over Tarukka and the wraith, deep blue light rejuvenating Tarukka and burning the undead menace.

Tarukka looks down and sees his translucent self in full battle readiness. Thus, he does what he does best. He slashes at the strings going out of the wraith. Head first, trying to restore some semblance of will to the creature.

OOC: Lots of assumptions here, but hey, you said I can fight (not being the type to bluff or grovel) :)

Thren yowls like a tomcat seeing it's reflection in the mirror, this monster was making him very nervous. Something about the undead was very unsettling.

However, a friend in need... he jumps forwards attack, not sure if any impact would be made.

Despite having a firm grasp on Tarruka's soul Mr. Creed manages to dodge the more damaging attacks launched by the party and only catching the weakened few physical attacks. He is stunned momentarily as Tarruka lashes out, his attack striking with full force in his separated form. As the string connected to his head is severed, Mr. Creed's grasp of Tarruka's soul is loosened.

OOC: 58% damage inflicted
Tarruka can try to free himself with a acrobatics/athletics check with advantage, or stay in the very vulnerable state and strike again for full damage. The strike prevented him from attacking this round. Wouldn't count on it doing the same next round though.

Ramas looks around for something suitable to fling again using his power, hoping he doesn't blow the room up. Finding a suitable stone he hurls it at the wraith.

OOC:
Casting catapult.DC14 Dex save or [roll0]. Is creed actually stunned or was it flavour? Just because I'm pretty sure a stunned target auto fails death saves.
Don't forget toy took over my surges.

NOTE: Next attack against the wraith has advantage

Foregoing calling upon High Captains blessing in favor of direct offense, young priest shoots another bluish bolt into the ephemeral body of the wraith. Mr. Creed receives the bolt full in the chest, but yet again, it seems this place is cursed against power of The Sea as fairly minor rents open on its body.

[sblock=Actions]
Action: Guiding Bolt vs Wraith; Radiant damage: 1D20+6 = [19]+6 = 25
4D6 = [3, 1, 5, 1] = 10
- again terrible damage roll, but at least I'm hitting!

Tarruka can try to free himself with a acrobatics/athletics check with advantage,

Tarukka uses temporary paralysis and tries to slip the hold of Mr Creed. "Freeeedoommm!" he shouts in his face as he wiggles around.

OOC: Lets hope I didn't waste perfectly good setup :o Is the advantage due to bladesong or the stun? Not that it changes things, just wondering...if I fail this round, I may need to hit him again :)
Acrobatics to get free from Mr Creed: 1D20+4 = [12]+4 = 16
1D20+4 = [9]+4 = 13
