I doubt you can find it, but if you run into Cities, by Midkemia, and later by Chaosium, you will have a full system for running your one PC. Actually, the player hardly needs you.

I'll second that. Cities is invaluable for creating a realistic, Conan-type city. Even the illustrations on the Chaosium version give you a great look - and - feel.

It is growing and Anna the team leader is doing great. I am really proud of that whole team. They just got two new members and that only shows that good work breeds good work!

As for the Vault we are working on a web enhancement that should be available soon, it was cut from the book, and we are double checking stats as we speak. It should be 3+ pages of all new info, new POI's, NPC's and more.

Bluffside Netbook Team Leader here.

We're hoping for end of June, beginning of July release of version 1 for the Netbook. We're working on POIs and NPCs for the New City District at the moment.

A great team has been assembled, but we are always looking for other contributors as well. So if you have an interesting POI or NPC for the Netbook head over to the website for more information concerning submissions. You can write the POI for any of the the city districts, not just New City.

The goal is definitely 'high-magic,' and not really gritty as I understand Freeport is

Freeport is not gritty. It's Disney-esque, and essentially a police state (1 in 50 people there is a cop). There's also no thieves guild, so it's not really great for a thief campaign (besides the police state part).
