A Question About Eric Noah

Vecna dreams of the Hand and Eye of Eric Noah which would make him all-powerful. Of course, Vecna would first have to get them of Eric Noah, which is impossible: No one betrays Eric Noah.

Those who thought of betraying Eric Noah considered the implications and died of fright.

Eric Noah will be eaten first!

Eric Noah understands women (well, gamer women at least).

For every breath you draw, somewhere on the world, a man impregnates a women. That man is Eric Noah.

He's also the guy that kills a man every second.

Eric Noah never suffers from stress. He's a carrier.

Eric Noah once didn't send on a chain letter and the guy who originally wrote it lost his job, his wife, all his money, was abducted by aliens and died in a freak accident.

Eric Noah is not interfertile with any other race: No one crosses Eric Noah.

Eric Noah laughted when Black Leaf died.

Eric Noah's familiar is the Tarrasque - with every known D&D template slapped on and its HD increased tenfold. He doesn't mind overmuch that his familiar isn't as strong as his level would indicate.

Oh man, you people are silly. And I have no tolerance for silliness. Punishments will be distributed shortly.

As to the original question -- yes, that's me. I have exactly two Dragon Mag credits to my name and that's one of them. (The other one is in #208). It was written in an era when most fantasy RPG players came into the hobby after reading and enjoying fantasy fiction. I don't think that's necessarily the case today -- coming into fantasy tabletop RPGs through video gaming is about as likely today.

Thanks for the answer.

What was the article in 208 about in general terms?

208 is the one that I'm missing from about #203-212.

Oh and thanks everyone else too. I was just sharing some of this information about Eric Noah with my friend who doesn't come to this board. HE thought it was cool.

You know,

After all this what we need is to print up some ENWorld t-shirts that say "I AM ERIC NOAH!" across the front. I think it would make GenCon a riot.

It was about how to start a new campaign. Very obvious advice like "take stock of the settings you have access to" and "poll your players." Not my best work by a long shot.

I got a 65-cent check from Cafe Press a couple of weeks ago. Apparently someone bought one of my t-shirts or mugs or mousepads from the 1999-2001 era. I had no idea they were still available.
