A Question for the Ages: Wars or Trek?

Star Wars or Star Trek?

I'm going with Wars.

Not least of which because I'm currently playing Stars Wars Lego: The Complete Saga on the Wii and really enjoying it.
I just got that in the mail today for my 360 along with Star Wars: Empire at War for PC. I love Star Wars games. I haven't seen too many Trek games that I liked. Star Trek Armada was the best

This was a no-brainer until George Lucas pooped on my childhood.

And he shall never be forgiven. I find it interesting that R A Salvatore is following a similar course where his later books have devolved into an Ewokian/Gunganian parody or perversion of what he wrote before.

Star Wars changed my childhood but I would probably go with Star Trek now as it never quite "jumped the shark".

For me, Dr Who will live long & prosper in the Twilight Force of the Galactica Zone.:p

ST & SW franchises, viewed as a whole, are about the same to me. While Trek rarely reaches the heights of the original SW movies, it is also never nearly as bad as the 3 that followed. (I'm sorry, but Phantom Menace was vomitous.)

Twilight Zone, though, revolutionized the market for Sci-Fi on TV in a way no other show has done, and spawned countless imitators: Outer Limits, Amazing Stories, Tales From the Darkside, Spine Chillers, The Watcher...and even Serling's own recycling of it in the form of The Night Gallery.

And Dr. Who is the longest continually running sci-fi series ever- only the Godzilla has a comparable age, and that franchise is virtually movie only.
