A quick question about resistances

The answer to this is probably obvious, but I can't find it in my PHB:

If a creature has 2 resistances of the same type, do they stack?

Eg. Does a level 1 tiefling (FR 5) wearing black iron armour (FR 5) have fire resistance 5 or 10?

No. You get the most beneficial. This is seen on DMG 176. Other than that, there's nothing explicitly stating it.

The errata just concerns what happens when damage has more than one type, and how that interacts with resistances.
