I also apologise to anyone who watched me flounder in the early days - and thanks for sticking with me until I got not too bad at this whole roleplaying lark ;)

plus yay for making this a hot topic!

Recent events IRL have made me pretty scarce ISRP wise - I apologise and also don't know when I'll wander back. Hopefully a month or so.

Thanks for the patience, guys.

o.O Holy res, Batman!

But yes. Many of us are still here -- because we still have a reason to be here. Thanks to everyone who's stuck with this through the moves and technical difficulties.

*grins* I've enjoyed my time on RPing, I'm still a novice though. I joined Wizos in June of 2004. Because of a book. Heh...I made several friends, lost the internet in November of '04 came back in May of '05, lost it again in October of '05, and came back again last month. I at most had 11 characters back on Wizos, now I have 4. But I thank the other RPers who helped me, some of them which were wizos now Magis. There was quite a few, but most of them who helped are gone. *sticks his bottom lip out* The only one left would be Nashira. But now on here there's Bageera, Ariel, Skylyne, Lyger Raine...hmmm...that's all I can remember. *waves* I hope everyone is having fun, but my time up here is somewhat lessening. It still seems that some RPers are uncooperative when it comes to allowing other people to join in. Bah...no matter.

I donno if I'm too late to say this but I figured I'd put in a post. I've been around the rping world ever since the glory days of wizards, which I'm think is about 4-5 years for me. But I must say, ever since I've started rping, I have made a bunch of friends and greatly improved my grammer...yes I used to be one of those that typed one key at a time and missed like 5 posts to me in the process. But ever since I read the first post in this tread by Nic, I've begun to realize that these past years that I have been rping on Enworld that I haven't been rping to the fullest. So thanks Nic for making me relize how fun role-playing can be...and ruthy can I have a cookie?? Pretty please?! :)

Heh, Keon - nice to see you about on the boards. Personally, I'm a stickler for good spelling and grammar, as far as possible, so I have to give you two thumbs up for learning to write as well as you do. Always appreciated. ;)

*gives Keon his cookie and pats him on the head* There's a good lad. :)

You know, Keon was pointing this out to me over IM's last night and I came to relize....he's right. How many of us really to RP to the fullest anymore? Plots, schemes, off site encounters that lead to onsite fights...those are the things that made RPing great. And of course encouraging new people to join in the fun! I've made a lot of new friends since the move as some of us start banding together again to try to form this plot or that story. A few of them think I'm nuts for the things I allow to happen to Ruthia and her family...but you know what? Thats what on site RPing is suppose to do, provide an uncontroled element to any story line. And gods knows Ruthia's true story line, the one I started on six or so years ago...has more twist and turns then I ever could have plotted on my own. And I'm only half way through it! Thanks guys for making one characters Stroy a fun and exciting thing to do...I look forward to RPing now more then ever before.
