D&D General A Setting! A Setting!

Would anyone watching and participating in this thread want me to expand out of the city into the world at large? I was considering doing some On the Origin of Species type stuff. Also, possibly, how the various planes fit into things. And, of course, the deities. Besides that, folks might be curious as to the areas surrounding Ellindam, though most of the folks here seem pretty pleased to continue to build lore for the city itself.

P. Leo Griffonus (true griffins)
The possible origins of both wingless griffins and winged lions is either mages or the fey. In the case of the latter, they will have been tinkering with species from the Prime for millions of years to amuse themselves. They could as easily breed for results (using magic to slowly sculpt over time--they are immortal, after all) or use some sort of shape flesh spell to quickly get the result they want then simply have biology take its course with mating until the new species is established.

Thoughts?
