A Simple Errand (DM:renau1g, Judge: covaithe)

[sblock=ooc] Since this battle is kind of on 2 different fronts, and I seriously doubt that Jax or Crags actions will affect Rrek/Dorn/Ingot, I will post my turn to keep things moving. Feel free to place actions as they are "supposed" to happen, R1 :) [/sblock]

Crag did not see, so much as hear the results of his little reptilian buddy's attack. Spinning in a quick half circle, Crag's blade flashes out at the bullywug in front of Jax. Terra's power flows through Crag's blade and embeds small shards of mineral salt in the frog creature's wounds, causing immense pain. Crag turns toward the other frog man, the metal of his face shifting into a slight resemblance of a menacing grin.

"You are outnumbered and outclassed, green skin. Run while you can before my friend ends your life!"

[sblock=Crag to the rescue!] JAX, if you can do something to eliminate the Twitch by Crag on your next turn, I can have Crag charge into the action by Rrek/Dorn/Ingot.[/sblock]

[sblock=Actions]
-Standard Action: Earth Shield Strike vs Mucker: CRITS for 19 damage (see dice room) and gains a +1 power bonus to AC.
-Free Action: Mark Twitch 91.

, Earth Shield Strike

Encounter Powers: Hungry Earth, Warforged Resolve

)

Note on Warden's Fury and Warden's Grasp:

Warden's Fury gives me a free attack against any of my marked foes adjacent to me that attack any of my allies
(as an Immediate Interupt). If it hits, it does my normal basic attack damage, but it also makes the target
grant combat advantage until the end of my next turn.

Warden's Grasp lets me slide any of my marked foes within 5 squares of me that attack any of my allies. The
slide is one square and it also slows them and doesn't allow them to shift until the end of it's turn (this is
an Immediate Reaction). [/sblock]

[sblock=wtg crag!]Youch, that was a nasty crit! The mucker goes down from that one-two punch. However, I don't think I'll be able to burn through the twitcher in one round since he's still at full hp. If only one of us had Intimidate to bloody it and get it to surrender![/sblock]

Dorn's eyes close briefly, and when they open he sends psychic pain flashing out towards his enemies from the cover of his arcane shroud. (OOC: Bedeviling Burst hits bloodied twitcher and mucker 78 for 10 psychic damage each (that should kill the twitcher). The mucker is pushed to K6. Dorn will sustain his shroud power).

[sblock=oops]Dang, I don't know why I have so much trouble figuring out when it's my turn in this adventure. :( I'll post a move within the hour.

Reklaw - I should be able to heal you before your turn I think, so you'll be able to get up and do something... shouldn't need the death save.[/sblock]

Ingot leans back as Dorn's blast engulfs the frogmen, slaying one and pushing the other all the way to the back wall of the ruined room. It turns to the remaining mucker that is menacing the fallen swordmage, and swings its fullblade. The sharp edge catches the bullywug's throat and it falls back, dying.

The air around the adventurers begins to clear as the bullywugs' rank stench fades. "Rrek... hang on," the warforged mutters as it prays to the Great Forger for healing. The gith's wounds begin to close.

[sblock=Actions]Standard: Righteous Brand vs. Mucker (1d20+8=23, 1d12+4=13) I think that's enough to kill it, right?
Also, it appears that there are no frogmen within 2 squares of Rrek, so he can now spend a surge without being weakened. Yay, good job Dorn!
Minor: Healing word for Rrek (1d6+3=5) (Heals surge value + 5)

Rrek, you feel the healing energies wash over you and you awake, lying on your back in the muddy ruins.

[sblock=ooc]
You have your actions still, so no death save required. You're prone though.

Rrek groans, bringing himself up and summoning his sword back into his hand. He moves into a defensive position, ready to defend those to whom he now owes his life.

He shoots a grateful look at both Ingot and Dorn, saluting them with a fist to his chest before he turns back to the battle.

Magic onces again pulses from his sword, and he watches the twitcher and mucker warily, waiting for their move.

[sblock=Action]Healed for 13.
Move=Standup
Minor=Summons sword into his hand
Standard used as move and he moves to N4

Jax turns a 180 and retraces his steps without even stopping. Out of the corner of his left eye, he catches a glimpse of the heated battle between Rrek's crew and the frogs. However, Crag is offering a perfectly good flanking opportunity! Jax circles around the Mucker and once again lashes out with his dagger.

The frogmen on the west side of the ruins now turn their attention to the warforged who appears to be healing the others. The javelin wielder moves with speed towards Ingot, but the blow is easily dodged. However, the large foe barrelsover the cleric, knocking him over.

On the east side, the bullywug next to Crag glares angrily at the warforged, but sees the easier target behind him. It moves faster than Crag can react to and it raises its javelin at the kobold, but Jax is too quick and sidesteps the attack.
