A Warning to B.A.D.D.

Richards

Legend
I don't know if anyone's noticed this yet, but on page 12 of issue 294 of Dragon Magazine, in the preview of next issue, there's the following blurb (emphasis mine):

But there's more to this issue than castles: Kill a dragon barehanded with new unarmed combat specialists, and discover how to make secret societies a part of your game.

I just thought I'd stir up trouble by pointing it out to those of you who are already "Bothered About Disposable Dragons" - apparently, there's worse to come! :)

That's really difficult to call one way or the other without seeing what they're referring too. I don't think any member of B.A.D.D. (myself included) would have any problem with a 20th lvl Monk killing Calcryix(sp?) the White Dragon Wrymling from Sunken Citadel. So such an ability already exists

So merely saying that someone could kill a dragon with their bare-hands is not necessarily a threat to the Supremacy of the Wryms. It would depend on the bare-handed combatant and the dragon.

Thank you for this information. All international and extraplanar chapters of B.A.D.D. have been alerted to this possible new threat.

You can expect a full analysis of these new abilities as they pertain to the vile practice of dragon slaying when the issue becomes widely available.

Stay tuned: Same B.A.D.D. time, same B.A.D.D. channel. :D

That is exactly right.

I think that all dragons should be killable. It is just that it should be HARD. At least harder than some games seem to make it.

I am not at all Bothered About Dead Dragons, only Disposable ones. :)

Leader!!!

I mean B.A.D.D Man!

It may be part of another countdown to the epic level handbook, perhaps with a preview of the vorpal unarmed strike feat. Of course, if that's available to players, wouldn't it also be available for Dragon claws?

Vorpal dragon claws...

HMmm... nice idea. But I think I still stick to that wight dragon template.... my players seem to hate negative levels...
