Level Up (A5E) A5e in Modern Era

While I know rules don't exist for a modern campaign, I was wondering if anyone out there has run a game using the A5e rules (Fantasy, Voidrunner, mix of both) in a modern setting? If so, any thoughts or advice?

I'd probably look at reskinning stuff from both A5E and VRC. If I was looking for inspiration, I would look at the d20 modern books from the 3e era- they had quite a following and A5E definitely reminds me of 3e in some ways.
