D&D General aasimar appearance

Not typically. They look mostly human but taller on average and occasionally with a few angelic traits like opalescent eyes, silver hair, patches of feathers that grow on their shoulders, a halo of faint light around their heads, etc.

It is implied that Aasimar are indistinguishable from a human at first glance, but when their abilities are used their appearance changes. However, this is not explicit, and some DMs have decided that they have distinguishing features. Matt Mercer has some Aasimar be obviously angelic and others only reveal their nature when their wings come out (2 kids from first campaign were obvious, Reani was obvious, Yasha not so obvious).

That’s not just a thing some DMs have decided, it’s pretty well-established ever since Planescape.
