The Aasimar are the remnants of a once beautiful race of angels who had a curse laid upon them by a rival god of there master. Said curse reduced the Aasimar to a mortal life where the memories and power were stripped of them. In time they began to mix with the other mortals of the world breeding with humans diluting their blood until the Aasimar of the current time existed.

Play an Aasimar if you want...

* To play a wise and charismatic race.
* The off spring of a once great angel race.
* To be a member of a race that favors the Paladin, Cleric and Warlock classes.

Physical Qualities

Aasimar stand between 4 and 6ft with men often taller then women, there skin often varies between plain pale colors, pale blues, browns and reds. Their features often fair and beautiful and they more often have light hair then dark. Aasimar often have bright sparkling eyes that can be blue as sapphires or white as diamonds.
[edit] Playing an Aasimar

To play a Aasimar gives your character some aura of mystery as not much is known about the descendants of angels, but it is also a great price for many others often fear the idea of the divine might that may lay within. As an Aasimar honor, courage and nobility are important to you and it is not rare for Aasimar to go out just to defend others. Those who wrong you often learn of what it is to face an angels wrath as you often are quick to serve justice to those who wrong you. However this does not mean you attack in spite or sneakily as Aasimar prefer face to face combat then that of sneaking in the shadows, stabbing your foe in the back.

Aasimar Characteristics: Brave, Wise, Honorable, Beautiful, Corageous, Noble, Defensive.

Male Names: Camael, Ecanus, Forfax, Gazardiel, Hael.

Female Names: Cathetal, Dina, Forcae, Gabrielus, Muriel.

This is a update of some pre 4e stuff.

It looks alright at a glance, though the healing hands is a bit pathetic in my opinion. Nothing like burning an encounter power and a healing surge to get back a single hit point.

Agreed, either don't make it cost a healing surge, or increase the dice to 2d6.
