abishai stats?

First Post
Despite the risk of this being a stupid question:

I understand that the Abishai has d20 stats published in the Monsters of the Forgotten Realms book.

I dont own this book, nor do I really intend to buy it, but I'd love to have a look at these stats.

Does the OGL allow for these stats to be posted, and is this monster even covered under OGL?

(I repeat my call posted elsewhere for a big thick book of (3.5!) planar monsters!)

The appear in the Monsters of Faerun (the FR monster book like you said) and unfortunately are not covered under the d20 or OGL.

So, can't post their stats here.

Unfortunately, quite a few monsters from MoF aren't actually FR monsters but instead are 'classics'- abishai, bullywugs, firenewts, etc. Personally, I hate the tendency to twist everything into a FR critter.

But I guess that's slightly off-topic, sorry...

Like the Peryton too for example? :D I too hate that crap.

Don't worry about it to much, I have a feeling that they'll get reprinted in a new monster book eventually.

I hope so, though I do admit to a photocopied copy of MoF.

(whistles innocently) Don't recall quite how I got that one.

Roflmao.

Reminds me of myself actually, I occassionally get stuff mailed to me, only hades knows frrom where... :p

I wonder which monster book WotC will do this year, MM3 perhaps? My guess is a Monsterbook to tie in with Eberron.

i would love them to do a monster book just for the old-timers. ;) what i mean is, a collection of conversions from OD&D, 1E AD&D, and old dragon mag and module monsters, with some 2E thrown in for balance. call it "the bestiary" or whatever - it might even sell better than the ToH if they do it right. ;)

They should only be allowed to do it if they throw in five dragons from the old editions, I'm thinking the Rain dragon and at least four more. (It ain't a monsterbook if their ain't any dragons in it) :D

I wonder if there will be dragons unique to Eberron?
