Accidental Survivors: the Modern Gaming Podcast

Thanks for the kind words, Roger. Our tech problems come from using Skype. We use Power Gramo (a free download) to record the conversation, but the result of that is my voice (I'm recording it) being much quieter than the rest, so I had to amplify it (using Audacity, another free program). Also, Chris had forgotten to bring his headset home from work during our first recording session, which left us with echo (echo, echo, echo).

All these problems will be . . . should be addressed in episode 2, which will be recorded on Sunday night.

Fingers crossed!

I quite liked it as well. The one specific issue I noticed was a delayed echo on a few of the voices. Could have just been my download, and it didn't stop me from listening all the way through, but I thought I'd mention it.

Content-wise I really enjoyed it.

Yeah, that echo was because Chris had forgotten to bring his headset home from work during our first recording session. I think you'll note the echo is absent from Inspiration Time, recorded a week after the first part. Chris has invested in a sweet USB headset. I'm going to have to do the same.

Take care all!

Hey! Rob, here, from the Accidental Survivors Podcast. We recorded episode 2 last night, with more modern gaming goodness - and now with less annoying echo! Fraser's got a pretty major editing job ahead of him because I spouted on a little too long about CJ Carella's free download of the Witchcraft RPG. Hopefully it will be live, soon!

R.

Now with 100% less echo. :D

I listened and I liked! Keep up the good work, guys.

And thanks for the mention at the end of the 'cast. It was a hoot! Who knew I liked hearing my name so much?

Hal, I've been looking for some good podcasts, and I'm reluctant to sample a large number of them. Would you be able to recommend some of your favourites? Gaming or otherwise.
