Actions After Making Saves

Pit Fighter is really a prime example of this. You get 1/2 your level in damage to all standard action attacks when you AP. Why wouldn't you AP first and get it to two actions instead of one?

The whole AP mechanic at paragon+ is really fun.

Heh... I remember the moment when our group's warlord realized that spending action points first often let you double up on action point based benefits.

It was one of those "moments" for the entire group. ;)

Yeah, the only member of our party who actually uses AP at the end of his turn is the Rogue (as his AP doesn't give him a buff for the turn) so he can Sneak Attack twice in a turn.

Our warlock isn't sure if he would AP at the end of his turn if he could get a Curse Damage twice feat; His AP = +4 to hit, so he thinks his odds are better with 2 attacks at +4 with CDam once, than two attacks with the chance of CDam twice. Luckily (:P) for him no "repeat curse damage" feat exists to muddy his tactics.
