Adamantine Diastana

My question has to do with a Adamantine Diastana (which is an extra armor from oriental adventures). Would this count as a light armor and therefor cost 2025 gps and provide +2 AC? I wasn't quite sure how this is suppose to work. The armor extra requires Light armor proficiency to wear. But is considered an extra armor piece that stacks with armor and shield.

yup, so far you're golden.

note: you can only combine this with padded, leather, or chain shirt and any shield

the other one chahar-aina is the same but requires medium prof and can be added as well ... (I think)

so if you had that dastana (adamantine), Leather, a chahar-aina, and a MW large shield ...

+2, +2, +1, +2=+7 AC you'd be at 40-45 lbs (wood or steel shield)

So, would that put the following:

Adamantine Dastana (AC +2)
Adamantine Chain Shirt (AC +5)
Adamantine Large Shield (AC +3)
Adamantine chahar-aina (AC +2 or AC +3)?

At Armor bonus of +12 or +13? The reason is chahar-aina requires medium armor and is considered medium armor and therefor grants +2 instead of +1?

I would treat the dastana and chahar-aina as shields. They are not armor, but add-ons that stack with base armor.

It may require a certain feat to use properly, but I don't think they should count as a suit of armor.

just my opinion of course ...
