Apart from his work writing Oriental Adventures, and translating and editing core AD&D books, he founded the French gaming magazine Casus Belli and wrote an epic fantasy of French graphic novels titled Chroniques de la Lune Noire (Chronicles of the Black Moon).

Je l'ai croisé rue d'Ulm fin 1981 mais je n'ai jamais joué avec lui, c'est le club qu'il avait créé, on jouait la nuit dans les classe de Normal Sup (En squat...)
I met him in 1981 in Ulm street in the club he had created but never played at the same table. We were not really autorized to play in these high school rooms by night, great memories...
