admins and mods- how about a welcome crew?

hey kids, when i moved to my current neighborhood, the wife-unit and i recieved a "welcome basket". nothing fancy, a nice letter, some fruit and cookies and a few %off coupons from local retailers who wished for our hard earned dollars.

perhaps we could do something similar for newbies here? a nice letter explaining the different forums, a word about grandmas. and 10% off a nat20 product? manned by volunteers it may make many peoples entry smoother and set a precedent of "community" feeling.

Those do exactly what I outlined above, but instead of in Nutkinland, they do it here.
