Take care and keep fighting. You can beat the odds. I have done it a couple of times. The first time was a 93% chance of death, the second was 3 in 10,000 survive. Obviously, I was one of the 3. I have also beaten a half dozen 50/50 situations, most of them a result of the 93% episode of my life.

But it just goes to show that you can never count yourself out. As my grandfather used to say, "Winning is not won."

Hang in there, and try to keep hope in your heart. I have seen people come back from rather pessimistic medical diagnoses. My father survived his fight with diabetes far longer than anyone thought he could. Indeed, his positive attitude shocked his doctors a few times.

Remember that you are a valued member of this community. Do whatever it takes to improve your health. Remember, that you are not alone.

I will keep you in my thoughts and in my prayers.

They had better stack. In fact, if they don't, we're revising again. What's the point of being a community of the Aid another bonues isn't stacking, hm?

Along with the morale bonus, don't forget the Sacred bonus. (Keeping Ryan in my thoughts and my prayers.) Now we can also try to find other bonus types to stack.


We will have to add the luck, competence (Epic Level poster bonus), insight, and resistance bonus types as well. So, I think we can give Ryan a Fort save that will rival Conan the Barbarian.

He also has 25-point-buy stats instead of a standard human's 15 and definitely a helpful feat or two (Great Fortitude comes to mind, assuming he was talking about something health-related - or maybe it's a feat that gives +4 to Fortitude vs. disease only).

Quick, Ryan, multiclass to paladin. *weak smile* I'm guessing you're not getting too terribly much gaming in nowadays, but is anything I could get for you? Magic cards? Pokemon? Nude pictures of David Boreanz?

Because I can handle the first two of those.
